About

ShellShock Live is a strategic online multiplayer artillery game with strong emphasis on leveling up, upgrading tanks, and unlocking new weapons and items. Players take part in 8-player turn-based team or free-for-all battles with the objective to destroy their opponents and be the last man standing. The game is packed with over 200 unique weapons, hundreds of terrains, several battle-ready items, and a plethora of tanks. Battles are highly strategic, and team-based tactics are essential to victory. If you are prone to addiction you may want to steer clear of ShellShock Live, because the combination of an extensive tech-tree, upgradable weapons, 100 unique levels, and clear sense of progression can be consuming.

From Humble Beginnings

We released the original Flash-based ShellShock Live in 2011 as a very simple multiplayer test. Players loved it and we kept updating and expanding. Two years later, when the game had outgrown its engine, we revamped the series with ShellShock Live 2. Because of its improved gameplay and new features, SSL2 immediately caught on. It is now two years later and with a combined 40 million plays and 5 million accounts, the ShellShock Live series has grown too big to be constrained by Flash and a 800x600 pixel window.

The Game Plan

We're currently in the process of building a massive Windows/Mac/Linux (and mobile and console eventually) version of ShellShock Live. This new version will be bigger and badder in every way with hundreds of new features and a much more in depth game experience. We're currently in the Steam Greenlight process and need community votes to be accepted on Steam.
